Tom Gillis at the Barclays

From one Oakland University grad to another, I enjoyed talking with you on the range.  I’m sorry you didn’t get it done on the back nine on Friday to make the cut.  My wife was planning a great home cooked meal for you guys over the weekend.  I was even going to throw in your choice of homemade peach ice cream or my own world’s best lemon meringue pie.

I would like very much to talk further with you about your game in an effort to identify what you feel you need to improve to crack the winners circle.  You have obviously accomplished a great deal to date. There is such a fine line between where you are and that next level.

As a former senior tour player and one who has taught this game for 40+ years, I have learned what it takes. Still at age 64 I am in training to fully recover from my injuries to make it all the way back to the  US Senior Open by next summer.

If you’d like to give us a shot at working together during the off-season to tidy up each facet of your game a bit, I’d love to help out a fellow alum.  You have my card or you can reach me at Golfstruck.

All the best,

Ozzie

P.S. I’d love it, if you give me something to write about in my Close But No Cigar write up for this week at the Duetsche Bank Classic.
